IARI Membership
IARI is your community-funded, non-profit institution. Our shared goal is to build a solid institution that will last well into the future; one that reflects our identity as Indian-Americans, yet propagates our rich and diverse culture.
We need your help to serve you better through our events, the newsletter, this website, email and more.
Family membership is just $25/year, and patron membership is $100/year. Membership is defined on a Diwali-Diwali year basis.
Family membership includes discounts to future IARI events, website registration, web-posting privileges and, by supporting your community, you are surely earning good karma.
Patron membership includes the above plus heavily discounted tickets to our annual Divali event, and other events where applicable. It also marks you as a faithful, influential and key supporter of our growing community.
We are also seeking individual, and corporate donations for our annual India Independence Day event.
The India Independence Day event is a free event, meant to showcase our culture, traditions, and identity to the larger community that we live in. Past IARI Independence day events have been seen by thousands of local residents and have been graced by major dignitaries from here and abroad.
Our tentative date for us to celebrate India’s Independence Day is on Saturday, July 26, 2008, at the Water Place Park in Providence. Besides featuring classical and folk dances of India performed by local artists, the event will include a musical performance by a live band, likely beginning at 8 pm.
